Shipping & Return
Tecmeout is focused on delivering unmatched customer service and brand-name products at the lowest prices in the industry. Your trust is very important to us, so we work hard to take good care of our customers and constantly strive to reinforce the confidence you place with us. In order to continue giving you the best value and price, we require all buyers to comply with the following policies.
With most products, if the package is damaged at the time it is received and the product is defective, it can be returned within 15 days if we are contacted within 5 days upon product arrival. The buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
In some instances, defects and warranties are handled directly by the manufacturer. This means that Tecmeout does not handle the defective product(s) because of its weight and/or the manufacturer handles them directly.
Warranties are handled directly by the manufacturer after 15 business days. Buyers are responsible for the shipping cost of the return of a product. Either the manufacturer or Tecmeout will then bear the cost of sending the buyer another unit in exchange if a product is defective or in the event the wrong item is shipped.
All sales are final. No returns can be made on wrong items purchased or for incompatibility. It is not our policy to sell used or open boxed products. If we do sell an open box product, specific details and policies can be found on its listings.
All of our products are genuine and come with a 1-year warranty. We provide a receipt during shipment in the package. If there is ever a problem, please contact us and we can provide you our store receipt for your warranty.
P.O. BOX, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico Buyers:
For large items such as computers and notebooks, we ship FedEx Ground which does not cover P.O. Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico. We do not ship computer products or orders over $250 to P.O. Box, APO/FPO because PayPal requires a signature while P.O. Box, APO/FPO do not allow signatures. Buyers will have to pay for Priority Shipping via U.S. Postal Service or pay for second day shipping. If that option is not displayed in the shipping options then please contact us to get a quote.
All Other Buyers:
Products are shipped within 1 business day, Monday-Friday after payments clear. Please make sure that the ship-to address in PayPal is accurate in order to avoid any delays or possible reshipment of the product(s).
We ship certain products but not computers anywhere in the United States. International buyers are responsible to check details such as coverage of warranty in their country.
Tracking and Delivery Confirmation:
As soon as we receive the tracking number for your shipment, we will post it promptly in PayPal. Please check the PayPal payment detail page for further information. An email will also be generated when we post the tracking numbers and sent to your E-mail inbox. There will also be a delivery confirmation upon arrival of the item(s). Please note that once the item is delivered we are no longer responsible for it.
If for any reason you are not home during delivery of your product, you must pick it up from the post office to avoid having the item shipped back to us. In this scenario, buyers will be responsible for any cost incurred during re-shipment.
Damaged shipments should be refused at the time of arrival. Please contact us right away in order to have us file an insurance claim. We will then process another shipment to replace the broken unit.
Priority Shipments: Usually takes 1-2 days to most Southwest U.S. regions, and 2-3 days to most metro cities in the U.S. that are not in the Southwest region of the U.S.
Light weight products less than 2 pounds and less than $250 are typically shipped with the U.S. Postal Service.
Heavier items, such as desktops and laptops, are sent via standard shipping and are typically sent via FedEx Ground.
